On one side, Chai, our AI engine, continuously scans global data feeds, crisis alerts, and social signals to detect urgent emergencies as they happen. When a life-threatening situation arises — such as a natural disaster, war, or epidemic — CharCoin acts fast. These emergency interventions do not require community votes. Funds are dispatched immediately to verified partners on the ground, and every transaction is transparently recorded on-chain. The community is always notified in real time, ensuring visibility and trust.
On the other side, registered organizations can apply to be listed on the platform by submitting a formal request, including documentation and a full KYC process. Each application is carefully reviewed by the CharCoin validation team, who assess authenticity, past results, and impact capacity. Once approved, these organizations become part of the monthly governance cycle.
Each verified cause is then presented to the community. Token holders who stake their $CHAR vote for the causes they believe in. At the end of the cycle, the total donation pool is distributed across all listed causes, with larger portions going to the most-voted missions. Every listed cause receives support — but votes determine the exact share. To take part in the decision-making process, users must stake their $CHAR tokens. Once a user has maintained their staking position for at least 15 consecutive days, they earn voting power. At the end of each monthly cycle, all verified causes listed on the platform are ranked based on the total voting pointsthey receive. This ranking determines their position on the CharCoin Leaderboard — a transparent list that reflects the community’s collective priorities.
